I'm a teacher and I got this for my classroom. It really only kind-of works on thick paper (like cardstock). It works fairly well on thin paper though and is a good deal.

I do alot of crafts of different materials and this holds on most surfaces. But it is still best on paper.

I don't know what happened to my batch but it wasn't purple and it was oozing an oily substance and was more like a chapstick than a glue stick. A chapstick you left on your dash in the summer in Las Vegas.
