Washable glue sticks are great!

These Staple brand washable glue sticks work well. The initial purple color helps one to know where the glue has been placed on the paper. Easy for children to know if they have gotten all the areas they needed to cover with glue. The glue turns clear quickly so one can't wait around before attaching the other paper to it. A good thing about the initial purple color is that if one glues past where they should have you don't easily see it as the clear color blends in with the background.
