After using the mat for a little while there are ruts where the wheels of my chair have set for a little while. Then the chair is stuck and it’s hard to roll out of the rut. I don’t believe this has anything to do with my carpet.

I have this mat on my rug and it never moves. I got the clear because its in my bedroom and I didn't want it to stand out like the other colors would. This is my second one the only reason I threw out the 1st one is because it started to yellow over time. I had it for 10 yrs and that's the only reason I dumped it. That mat was still good except for the yellowing. and I have a white rug.

I've had the mat for less than a week and already it shows dents from chair's roller wheels. Disappointed in "thin" quality. Replaced previous desk mat from Stapes that lasted for several years. A shame they downgraded the quality -- and the size.
