I bought this mat to put under my new rolling office chair which wouldn't roll on my carpeted home office floor. I suspected that I really needed a thicker mat but decided to go the cheap route since this one was the least expensive. Unfortunately the mat is starting to warp in spots because of the weight on top of the carpeted surface with it's upgraded padding underneath. There's no problem with the mat itself I'm sure it would be fine on thinner carpeting. You may want to keep that in mind when making a mat purchase.

This was shipped "next day delivery" and 2 days later still never arrived but the delivery man claims I signed for it. Since I neither received it nor signed for it (AND gave up 2 days of my life waiting for this box to arrive) I'd call that a FAIL all around. However Customer Service said they will reship it. so If I ever actually receive it I can say at least one person at Staples did their job. So far they are oh for nothing! First last and only time I've ordered online from Staples directly. Definitely not making this mistake again!

The shipping and product stickers left two large (7"x9") glue residue spots on the matt that make it very tacky. Now my socks stick to the matt. The matt has a bit more "give" than I'd like. Its supposed to be heavy duty yet my wheels leaves divots that take overnight to relax back. I know I need to loose a few pounds but I really expected a bit sturdier. Overall It does the job but I would not buy it again nor recommend it to a friend.
