The chair mat is installed on my deck where it protects my expensive deck from bird-feed-suet and bird poop. It also shields the deck from heat from our Weber grill. It only took me 20 minutes to cut off the foot-extension. It's working well.

It is economical the right size and easy to roll on. It is so I do not know also much thinner than the mat it replaced so I do not know how long it will last. That is why it only got four stars. It may be economical but how long will it be effective?
