No matter what I do this piece of junk will not lie flat on the carpet which is a low pyle berber carpet. Somebody decided to roll the thing up the wrong way and I had to lay 50lb salt bags on it for 48 hrs to try to flatten it out! It is now in front of my desk and the edges are curled up so bad that both my wife and i HAVE TRIPPED ON IT. If I were Staples I would be ashamed to say that I sold this to anybody. I don't have the carton to send this thing back otherwise it would have already been on its way.

The vinyl mat is just shy of 36" wide and 48" deep (including the under desk "lip"). So the roller chair in their photo must be small. But it is what it is. It arrived when promised but was NOT packaged wrapped rolled or protected in any way -- it was just dumped on our doorstep. A bit dirty & scuffed up but I suppose serviceable. That was my biggest disappointment with Staples. For that price you would think they could at least deliver it clean and in a protective plastic bag.

office chair location is on a carpeted floor. the carpeted floor needed protection from the wheels and weight of my new office chair. this mat stays in place in the carpet and does exactly what it was meant to do. protects the carpet and makes the moving of the chair easy and smooth.
