I replaced an older mat that kept sliding up against the sidei-kick filing cabinet and getting bent and discombobulated. This mat creeps around much less staying pretty much where it was put although creep is impossible to completely stop since carpeting has a certain amount of give. I'm satisfied.

I bought this desk pad to use on a low pile carpet. It was delivered flat (not rolled) which was a good indicator that it was going to be sturdy since it is too stiff to be rolled. I weigh about 200 lbs yet my chair rolls smoothly and does not get stuck in dents. The mat has small raised tabs on the bottom that prevents the mat from moving around. It's perfect for my needs.
