Slides on floor and a safety hazard!

This thing slides all over carpet like crazy. If you step on this mat without a chair on it you might very likely lose your balance and fall on the floor. Even with the chair on the mat it will still slide and is very annoying.

Gripping not adequate

The grip points are bevelled and therefore do not maintain adequate grip on the floor. As the chair moves around so does the mat. Also the plastic used could be a bit thicker. Returned this mat and bought a different brand which works better.

smells terrible

this chair mat smells awfull even after one night with an open window you can smell the chemicals coming out of that thing. Most likely it´s made out of PVC containing phthalate plasticizers which are unhealthy. I will return it...

A mat that is short on thickness

i would have been willing to pay more money for a thicker mat. I know this one will last only for a few years. I suggest a thicker mat that will last a minimum of five (5) years with normal wear & tear.
