The mat has depressions in it from the chair wheels...I am disappointed in the quality

reasonable quality and price

This is marketed as economical product but its quality is not bad it probably won't last 10 years but it is certainly adequate for what it is. The price is also more reasonable. The other options are close to $100 I thought that was outrageous to charge that kind of money for a piece of thick plastic. Luckily I found this Staples version and am happy about it especially for its price.

As noted above for a heavy person over 250 lbs. it is difficult to roll chair on the plastic pad but note that it is on a low pile carpet over a pad.

At least once per week I have to move my chair and pull the pad out from the desk because it creeps. It is a little "soft" and the chair casters tend to sink in some and you need a little effort to overcome the "holes".
