Uses Photos letters notes. old greeting cards and placing letters that come back due to more postages wrong address due to moving- can place the old letter into this larger envelope.

Gummed....

I thought Gummed meant "self adhesive" IT DOES NOT. Gummed just mean regular old envelope with glue you need to moisten... like every envelope anyone has bought since modern envelopes have been produced. I guess that the alternative would be that I would melt wax and seal it with a family crescent?

I'm using these to create pages for an art journal where the envelope will be pasted over with images from a Sotheby's catalog of old master paintings and the envelopes then joined together and hinged into a journal. The envelope flaps will be tucked inside the body of the envelopes. The envelopes have just the right substance to withstand the gluing and folding.
