Photo Envelopes

I love this size Photo Envelope (4-3/4" x 6-1/2"). I do not use them for photos though. I design my own greeting cards and this size envelope is a perfect size and weight. I have used smaller envelopes in the past and the size card to fit it seemed in appropriate. I have used larger envelopes and I had to make the card much larger using much more colored printer ink which costs more money so I adore this size -- it is perfect and the price is too! :-)

My wife had passed away and I had a card made up with her photo on one side and the death notice on the other. I knew if I provided the card people were more likely to remember her to think about her and maybe keep the card as a keepsake of the laughter she brought to our lives in her 67 years. She had style and good Italian/Sicilian looks and I wanted the world well at least 50 of our acquaintances to see the great photo she had taken in 1992. She had her hand propped under her chin--in a unique and stylist way. But the envelope used with such cards was not large enough to also insert a letter. It was too snug around the edges. A look on the shelf took me to the photo envelope that offered just the right size larger that would accommodate two or three pages and still able to mail for 49 cents.

What concerned me first when I got them home is the fact that they aren't security envelopes but I was very surprised. Even though they were not the paper was very strong and I felt confident using them. They were a little pricey as well but the reality is you get what you pay for and they were not "cheap envelopes"by no means.

My Staples store employees in Ankeny Iowa do a very good job of helping a customer find the items they are looking for and are very through at the checkout. However I am supposed to receive my Rewards by mail as e-mail didn't work very well. But now I have to call customer service as even the mail is not working.

Great value okay quality

I purchased these envelopes to send out RSVP's for my wedding they did the job but when I got the envelopes back in the mail many of them were torn or tattered. If there were a few that were tatterd I would say its due to the post office handling but a lot of them had issues. It seems that these envelopes do not hold up well during the mailing process.

Great envelopes!

My friends and I just had our 12th annual Chili Cook-Off to benefit the American Cancer Society and Camp Can Do a childrens cancer camp. We ask people to cook chili and then we go around town and ask businesses to donate to our raffle table. We also write to baseball teams casinos racetracks zoos train trips theaters and many other types of places for people to enjoy. We had a great year again this year. Now that it is over we need to send out thank you cards photos and newspaper artcles to all who donated money time and items to help us. We needed two boxes and these envelopes were perfect for that job.
