The thicker one works perfect on higher pile carpeting. The office chair rolls nicely on the thicker matt.

This is the third one I have purchased and I cannot find a better deal for the quality anywhere else. I have tried cheaper brands and they just don't last

Allows chair to roll freely but is slightly smaller than hoped for when compared to others.
