The mat does the job. After I watched my wife struggle with a straight-backed chair to provide her with a small office I lent her my roll-about chair and mat I had bought at Staples a couple of years ago. She like both so well that we returned to Staples and bought another chair and mat. She likes both and finds the chair to be more comfortable and the mat to permit ease of movement.

Poor box poor content. it is too soft and chair sinks into it. I am returning it for another model.

Expensive but looks sturdy. Product tag left very sticky hard to remove residue.

This mat is not think enough. The wheels of the chair sink through it when on carpet.
