Very unsatisfied with this mat as it slides around on the carpet. The bumps on the bottom are not deep or sharp enough to keep it from sliding.

I use this item under my art table on a carpet floor. Don't have to worry about spills (Like ink paint etc) easy to see the mess and easy to clean up. The best thing is NO damage to the carpet.

Make sure your carpet pile is flat. Mine is just under a half inch and this mat gets depressed under the wheels of my chair. It takes a serious butt shove to move it.

I like that it had a lip that fits me desk perfectly where I put me feet. However it is at least a foot narrow on the other 3 sides which results in the rolling chair goes off the mat when I get up from the chair.
