I ordered this with some trepidation after reading reviews of curled up or bent mats. Mine arrived curled also but I put it outside in the sun. It was completely flat in 15 minutes! I'm so glad I ordered it. It's exactly what I wanted looks great under my husband's desk and protects the carpet beautifully.

I was hoping that if I spent a little more this chair mat would work after trying two others. WRONG. Too expensive for something that does not grip your rug. The mat itself proves to be durable but it does not grip into my medium pile Office rug. I have to adjust it 2-3 times a day as it continually slips out of place. I want to send it back.

This is the perfect size chair mat to use at a workstation. My carpet is 3/4" which is in the range for medium pile carpet but wish I would have ordered the high pile carpet mat. There are dimples left in the mat even when the chair is empty. The quality is good though so it should hold up as described.

I have a medium pile carpet and I purchased this chair mat specifically because the description said "this chair mat stays firmly in place". However this is definitely not the case as I have to re-position it every few hours. Very frustrating!

I have medium thick pile carpet so I figured it would work well. However it is soft enough that the chair leaves dents and can get hard to roll around on. I can deal with it because of the cost compared to other mats that are $100 or more.
