we have no padding under our carpets but I wanted the carpet to stay clean and dry. This is perfect for us.

We thought the mat would work better for our medium-pile carpet. It seems a bit inadequate. The mat is nice but it is impossible to remove the adhesive from the price stickers despite efforts with Goo Gone vegetable oil etc etc etc
