"Something to glide over"

There is nothing special about this product. It is a mid-range protector. The one I owned previously had to be replaced in less than two years and it did not get especially hard use.

I roll my chair around quite a bit and the BerberMat is large enough that I don't roll off of it thereby saving the rug.

As a person with a home office I did not want to spend [$] on a mat to protect the brand new Stainmaster carpet but I DID want something on which to better move my office chair. The mat is flimsy dents easily and is clearly thinner. I wish I had waited and gotten a nicer quality at Costco.

Bought a less expensive matt at Costco and wanted to better it with this one from Staples. The quality is about the same. The does move on carpet and is not thick enough to not indent causing difficulty with rolling on the surface.

I use it on my carpet so my chair rolls easy protects the carpet
