Does the job

The mat is neat looking and functional. It is also one expensive piece of plastic but this is what it takes to protect a nice floor.

Adequate for the job

The chairmat is adequate for the job. It is not as thick as it could be so my office chair wheels have made permanent grooves where they sit. I don't find it easy to roll on and I thought it was expensive for what I got. I didn't want to pay anymore money so I got the cheapest one they had.

I can't really say anything about this product because I haven't had it very long. the last time I bought this product was five years ago. I have berber carpet and a light weight office chair. at this time it seems ok.

*had very limited dollars to spend *was designed to be used on a thinner carpet but working well even with padding *have not owned long enough yet to rate durability *could be just a little larger especially the portion that fits under the desk

It's not thick enough so your chair sinks into it making it hard to roll around. Somebody needs to make a thicker/more solid mat. I would have returned it if I didn't need something right away to hold me over until I find a better product. I think the description on rug use is misleading.
