Not thrilled with this mat at all! I bought this mat because we needed a new one and thought I would go back to Staples where we got the first one. This one is different and doesn't stay in place very well. It has been re-designed from the last one we purchased from there. We did lay it out like it said to but it does not stay in place. It does not to seem to have a good grip on the carpet. I got this one because it was inexpensive and looked similar to what we did have. I am not satisfied with this mat and probably would not buy it again or buy one from staples again.

Bad packaging

This mat is rolled up and taped with packing tape that has very sticky adhesive that does not come off when the tape is removed(which does not come off easily either). So you are left with a sticky mess on the mat which then attracts dirt. You have to take goo-gone to get off the adhesive then a solvent to remove the goo-gone. So a 30-second job to lay a mat takes 15 minutes. Ever heard of binder twine?

Very thin small and expensive. I'm not sure when floormats became so expensive but I needed one right away.

Great Chair Mat

We purchased this item to put in a sales office with very low matte carpet but mostly to protect the carpet and for the desk chair to roll more easily! It works great and was a good price. Fit our need perfectly! We have not had them very long so can't comment on crack resistence or discoloring!
