This works great and is big enough to move around. We have thick berber carpet and it still works great. They don't last but 2 - 3 years. I wish they could last longer because they are not cheap.

Good thickness for berber carpet with padding (home). The mat gives a little under the weight of the occupied chair but not a lot so the chair moves unimpeded.

We have bought 2 of these. Ideal for short term but would buy the thickest one available if needed a long term solution. But we knew this going in. So we can say this mat performed as expected.

This was a replacement for a mat that lasted about 4 years under my computer desk chair. It is large enough to be useful and should provide a reasonable length of service
