Sponge for the environmentally minded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotch Brite Greener Clean Scrub Sponges are a good choice for the environmentally minded. The non-scratch scrubber is made of recycled materials. Compares to the original Scotch Brite Non-Stock Scrub Sponges, these sponges are thicker out of the package and the shape is different, with a more hourglass shaped than an S-shaped side. They are easy to grip, though I prefer the S-shape. The sponge and scrubber compress quickly with use, but not terribly more than the original blue scrub sponge. The sponge seems a bit less durable, however.

Great for cleaning and scrubbing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great product. It comes out of the package as a soft, not stiff, sponge, and it cleans well. The scrub side works well at removing stuff from the dish or pot that I'm washing, without scratching. A bonus is that it's made from recycled material. I have used it on washing dishes and on cleaning kitchen and bathroom surfaces, and the sponge functioned well with all uses. I received the product free from 3M.

Dishwasher Safe Sponge

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m a nurse and a bit of a germphobe. I don’t use a cloth or sponge over and over without a care because I know what they can spread around. (Use a UV light in your bathroom and you’ll see what I mean…) It’s great to be able to put these in my scalding hot dishwasher and reuse over and over and I love the rough scrubby side. This is my honest review of a free product.

Tough and yet gentle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of the Scotch-Brite Greener Clean Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges in exchange for my review of the product, and I am glad I did. I have a lot of non-stick cookware, and as we all know, it really isn't always non-stick. I have been hesitant to use any type of an abrasive sponge pad on it, for fear I will ruin the pans. I tried the Greener Clean non-scratch scrub sponges and was totally impressed! It removed some stuck on food that a regular sponge didn't budge, but did not scratch the pan. My next challenge was the outside of my refrigerator. It has a textured finish which means a regular sponge or cloth is not going to get into the little crevices, and you don't want to use an abrasive pad for fear of ruining the finish. Again, the Greener Clean Non-Scratch Scrub Sponge did the job. It got it all clean, including the hard to clean part in back of the handle, and no scratches on it. My last challenge was the inside of my washing machine. Over time, a film builds up on the stainless steel tub, but I do not want to scratch it while trying to clean it. Sure enough, this little scrub sponge came through! The fact that it is made with recycled fibers for the scrubbing part, and the fact you can throw it in the dishwasher to clean and sanitize it is a big plus in my book.

Nice clean scrubber

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great little scrubber. I use it on my glass top stove. It has enough abrasion to clear any burnt on spills; yet des not scratch. It is a nice size; and thicker than some of the other scrubbers - so it fits comfortably in your hand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a FREE SAMPLE of the Scotch-Brite Greener Clean Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges from 3M for evaluational purposes.
I like these sponges very much. I used 1 to scrub out my kitchen sink , and, it was gentle, it didn't scratch any surfaces. I then used it on my counters and stove top.
These sponges are made from 100% recycled product, and, contain no dye or BPA.
They are durable, and, can be sanitized in the dishwasher up to 20 times.
They hold the soap well, so you don't have to waste product. Gentle enough for dishes, sinks, counters, etc., but tough enough to clean big or small messes. Any place you need to clean up. I would recommend it to anybody wanting a sustainable sponge. I'm so happy I got to sample this sponge. They come in a convenient 3 pack.

Good all-purpose non-scratching sponges

It is big enough that I can get a good grip on it and gentle enough to use it without worrying about scratching the inside of my pan. I like that it comes in a multi-pack, so I have plenty on hand!

Great sponges for a greener and cleaner home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free package of Greener Clean sponges from 3M for evaluation. I stopped buying sponges years ago because my family always felt they are full of bacteria and germs after the first use. This is the first reason we are impressed with these sponges. You can wash them in the dishwasher up to 20 times for cleaning and sanitizing, which we intend to do. Secondly, our household is diligent about recycling and using products that contain recycled material. With young children in the home, we like the "free and clear" with no dyes or BPA. This fits our expectations. We have used the sponge to clean our granite countertops, a pan and spatula that had dried-on food, as well as pots that needed extra effort. They are also "non-scratch" sponges. It scrubbed everything clean without tremendous effort. I prefer using a sponge over other options, so this is something I will continue to buy. A must have for a greener, cleaner home!
