A "sinking feeling"

I bought this mat to replace one intended for uncarpeted floor which kept sliding sideways. I currently have low pile carpet where my desk is. I thought this one would solve my problems but it created a new problem (in addition to inching to the right) - - the chair wheels form sink pockets in the mat wherever they sit (and I am a small slim person) and I fight the dents when I try to shift the position of the chair. I could not recommend this mat to anyone with a low pile carpet. Maybe it works well on other some kind of floor cover but I'm not sure what that would be.

Not a bad floor mat; a little thinner than I expected so the wheels of my chair create indentations in the plastic of the mat causing four little indentions where you have to make a concerted effort to move it out of them---it's now harder to roll the chair.

Won't last long

Been doing taxes for 44 years and have used quite a few floor mats. This one only lasted one year and I only weigh 130 pounds. Poor quality. Most last at least 5 years. I would not recommend this product at all - waste of money.

I purchased this mat to replace a Rubbermaid mat that lasted about 20 years. The new mat is of very poor quality and extremely thin. It sits on low pile carpet but my chair sinks into the mat and leaves divits. Of note is that I weigh 165 pounds and my chair has smooth plastic castors. This mat will likely be returned within the next two weeks.

So far so good - after just a week or two. Shipped flat so easy to start using without having to work to get it to be flat. The nubs on the underside are shorter and not sharp as compared to most mats - so no chance of scratching yourself badly. t does not have a lip - which I love. I got this one so I can slide side to side and still be on the mat - and to potentially have two chairs side by side on the one mat.
