Great product. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do - allows my office chair to move quickly and smoothly from one point to another. Long lasting also. Recommend highly.

Low pile carpet chair mat

Mat has dented and remains so. Carpet slightly flattened underneath. Not on the chair all day so not too worried at present. Not sure how durable it will be long term.

Not what I expected

I wanted to get a mat that chair casters would not sink into the mat when setting in my chair so the chair would role easily on the Mat. This Mat does not come close it is slightly better than the cheap mat it replaces. Staples rated this Mat for use on one inch Pile Carpet and Pad best available found. It fails to do the job on this pile that is less than an inch. So far the sinking dips do seem to recover in time after the chair is moved. I weigh 250 pounds many men weigh much more. It seems the best you have to offer so decided I will have to live with it at least for now.

The mat is perfect takes to my high pile carpet beautifully. The delivery process from Staples was totally unacceptable. One day service turned into almost two weeks several phone calls from me promises of new delivery dates.

Very disappointed

I ordered this for my high pile carpet. I've had it a couple days now and the mat is constantly moving forward towards the desk through normal chair use on it. It also leaves large indented areas into the plastic from the wheels of the chair where if you move the chair it will try to put you back into the indented area the next time you move back to that area. The indents do go away over time but I can't believe this will stand up to regular use and I'm sure my carpets won't be protected. The structures underneath to hold it in place and protect the carpets are only about 1/8 to 1/4 inch deep so your carpets will get pushed down and matted much more easily than one with a pin type bottom or even a thick solid bottom that doesn't indent so much. I am going to return it it is so bad. I'm constantly rolling over these indents.

Good product

Not the most heavy-weight expensive mat I've ever used but certainly a good enough one for my home office use and for the price. I do like the slightly beveled edge which makes it easy to roll your chair on and off the mat. Only thing I will change for the next order will be to get the next larger size: this one requires remembering to keep the chair on the surface and even in my small space that makes a difference.
