I didn't expect much but I had hoped that when I leaned an easel pad up against it the whole thing wouldn't collapse. I got them working but they aren't very sturdy. If you're looking for a solid easel that you can hold up pads with and write on them without having to hold everything steady this is NOT that easel.

I bought four of these. One fell apart within the first 24 hours it was set up. They aren't very sturdy and I would not recommend they be used in high traffic areas or outdoors.

Good value for the price the reason for the 4 stars. It was a little work to get the framed canvas mounted at the correct height so it was properly seated at its base but doable. For our purposes and at this price point it was a good purchase.
