I've just been using this chair mat for a couple of days. It is made of resin which prevents the coasters of my office chair to slide as is the problem with the hard plastic chair mats. Exactly what I was looking for. Hope that it is durable.

This mat serves its purpose and saves the carpet but it’s actually much too thin. It was totally warped in spots where we sat in the chair and it happened the first day it was used.

divots/indent formed immediately chair gets stuck

Divots formed as soon as I put down the chair. I tried moving mat around. I tried adding more carpet padding. More divots. Chair gets stuck. I weigh 130 lbs. I use a standard office chair- no expensive heavy weight specialty chair. I have standard double wheels to spread the weight- not single wheel roller wheels (I read they cause divots). Don't have enough words to say how disappointed I am. There is carpet under the area that looks like floor. I added piece same height as the rest of the carpet.

I got the low pile carpet pad but it doesn't sit well on the carpet.. If I stay in one place for over an hour it makes dents..so its not gonna last like the last one did!!!

Very nice black vinyl mat with a top texture that looks like leather. No noticeable off-gassing. My carpet and padding are 15 mm thick and I was not sure if this would work. But no problem! - Oddly the mat was delivered without any packaging or wrapping only a shipping label on it and placed flat on our lobby floor. I had to thoroughly clean it on both sides as it was pretty dirty.
