The chair mat does protect my floor however without something to keep it from slidding around on my floor it becomes a slip hazard.

The wood veneer chair mat was just what I needed. Just installed hardwood flooring. The mat is plastic mat with a wood look. It blends into the flooring and protects it from my office chair. It shipped flat and all I needed to do was place down on floor.

Great quality mat

This mat was already the best price for a woody mat and then the staples.com website offered me a discount if ordered in 15 minutes with free shipping. Glad I did. Pros: Hi quality wood grain finish. After a month of daily use it still looks new. Doesn't appear to scratch or scuff easily No bumps or deformities and makes for easy moving. Cons: Shipped as is with no cover or packaging. Granted it came in perfect condition but I hope I wasn't just lucky. A little shrink wrap wouldn't hurt. Very satisfied with the price quality and expected durability with significant daily use.

Mat won't flatten

the mar came folded. Although there were instructions on how to flatten it they don't work. As a result the mat is curled upon one end and wavy throughout.

This mat looks good but it does slide around on my hardwood floor especially if the chair is off to the side.maybe all mats do this on hardwood floors. I bought it because of the price so it's quality matches what I paid for.

THE MAT WAS DELIVERED IN BAD CONDITION

I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW THE DELIVERY MAN WAS CONVINCED TO LEAVE THE MAT IN MY OFFICE IN THE CONIDTION IT WAS IN !!! ALL WRINKLED !!! ALL BENT OVER !!! NOT AT ALL ADEQUATE FOR USE !!! I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK TO A LOCAL STORE AND GET CREDIT FOR IT !!! I ASKED THE MANAGER AT THE STORE ABOUT THE CONDITION OF THESE MATS !!! HE ANSWERED THEY ALL COME WRINKLED AND BENT OVER !!! THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT !!! I HONESTLY BELIEVE THEY SHOULDE DELIVER THEM IN BOXES AND NOT ALL DAMAGED AND WRINKLED !!! I HOPE SOMEONE READS THIS MESSAGE BECAUSE THE EXPERIENCE IS NOT ENCOURAGING TO ORDER ANYMORE ITEMS ON LINE !!!
