OK but.....

This chair mat looks very good and works fine ... but after about two weeks on my floor I can't get it to lay flat. When I bought it it was rolled up. At first I had to weight it down for about a day to get it fairly flat. Now that its in position both ends still want to curl up. I've tried a heat gun hoping to soften the plastic but to no avail. My chair rolls fine on it it has a good appearance on my floor but I'm somewhat afraid of tripping on the slightly-curled end away from my desk.

Pricey but looks nice

The same mat I bought before lasted almost 3 years. If the floor is not solid enough it ckacks. Also needs to be held in place with double tape because it moves.

Does the Job

I needed something to protect an oak hardwood floor and to make the movement freely without interference between the desk chair and the desk. This fit the bill perfectly. Appears sturdy and blends nicely with the flooring.

Slips - Safety Hazard

The mat looks great flattens nicely and protects the floor BUT we used it for several days and it consistently slipped on the floor when we stepped to or away from the chair - a safety hazard we cannot have in our home. Very disappointed.

Not my favorite but beats clear plastic

I purchased this from my home office as I had a nice throw rug but it was always a mess from the chair rolling over it. The bamboo mat needed to be turned upside down to straighten before use which was fine. It does however still slide around on the carpet and I keep having to move the mat back away from getting pushed against cupboards to the side of the mat. The mat scoots with the movement of the chair on it. It has a fairly nice appearance but I wish it gripped the rug better as the bottom of it is smooth. Probably the ugly clear plastic with grippers might work better but wanted some aesthetics which this provides.

Nice wood finish floor protection

This works nicely to protect a hardwood floor by my desk. It lays flat and not any problem with the chair rollers on it's surface. Thanks
