The chairmat does the job for which it was purchased. It stays in place and prevents chair scratching or wearing floor.

Looks vs practical

I bought this to place on a carpet floor and was told it would work. My chair works great able to roll where I need to. The problem is that it the mat moves VERY easy does not stay in place.

Hard floor mat

I was accepting this as a second choice over a bamboo option that was no longer in stock. It claimed by the image to be the same color which mattered in the space it would be placed. When it arrived it was a very pale grayed version of the actual color on the website. I am returning it. To be fair it did look very sturdy.
