It is working fine even on a carpet. I did leave it out in the garage for a couple of days while it outgassed the rubber smell. It is much better than those clear plastic chair mats you usually use on carpet. The color is also very nice for where I am using it. I recommend it.

Good looking floor mat

I have been looking for a sturdy pad to put underneath the birdcage to protect the tiles or carpet floor from the bird droppings and seeds. It looks good . I can slide the cage easily to move it on the pad. It is easy to clean up. The size provides excellent coverage for the size of the bird cage I am going to buy one more so i can put my house plants on it and protect the floors carpets etc. from watering plants.

Inxpensive chair mat

I use this mat in an area where the chair must roll from hardwood to an area rug. This mat works fine for this. Of course the point where the mat crosses from the floor to the area rug will eventually crack but then I can spin the mat to position a new wear area. The mat arrived in a tight eight inch diameter roll and I was concerned it might be difficult to flatten (flattening other mats had been like wrestling an anaconda). This mat was reasonably easy to unroll and after setting overnight with a gallon water jug on each corner it was flat enough to use the next day. After experience with mats that fold in the middle (they always break along the fold) mats that are sold flat (to transport them you must do the anaconda wrestling thing to roll them up and then get them flat again) I decided I really like this mat. Time will tell about durability but for now it is a winner.

Just what I needed!

I had bought a rug to go under our office chair. We had recently put down laminate flooring and it looked as if the chair was scuffing the surface. The rug was cumbersome and kept bunching up. I was in Staples to use my rewards and had planned to buy batteries and coffee. Then I saw this mat. It was on sale and I had a coupon too! I wasn't sure of the color but picked one of the lighter ones. We're very happy with the rug. Our chair rolls easily. The mat can be easily wiped clean if needed and our flooring is being protected! Plus it looks great!
