Nice mat. However Staples or the manufacturer should highly consider packaging this product in a box or wrapping in plastic at the minimum. I had to clean off a film of dirt & footprints before I could put it in my office. Other than that it’s a good well-made mat.

A great chair mat

I'm puzzled that the reviews aren't better on this. We bought two of these one being used with a Staples Sorina Chair and the other with a Herman Miller Aeron with standard casters both on short (3/8-1/2") carpeting. Both are being used by pretty lightweight (under 125 pounds) people and maybe that explains it. Or maybe some of the reviews aren't correctly attributed? After being dissatisfied with some really cheap mats I made a point of getting the thickest and stiffest material in the rack at Staples. These mats have been great. We will probably get a third one for my office.

Looks very nice the no lip is greeat! The performance of the mat is not that good. The chair rollers have put permanent indentations into the mat and my chair rolls down into them all the time. I don't care for that! The height of the "pile knobs" on the back of the mat are not as high as my other mat (for the same carpet height) maybe that is the problem.
