Blends in well with my laminate floor and covers some bad spots which is what I wanted it for. The only issue is that it does slide around when stepping on it but I solved that with a little double sided tape.

I purchased this laminate chair mat to place under my very large bird cage not to use for its intended purpose of chair mat. I love it! It's easy to roll the birdcage over and clean the mat. Looks great in my living room

Bad experience at Staples

Well I bought an item and it had to be ordered so they said it would come to my house in two days but that didn't happen. On day four I called the store got the run around and passed back an fourth on the phone. Finally someone spoke to me and checked on my order with no resolve to where my order was but assured me it would be there by Monday (making it 7 days for a 2 day delivery) well on that day it never arrived. So I call customer service and they too we're unsure as to where it was. At this point I had enough and demanded my money back and I was going somewhere else. It's pretty ridiculous if you ask me and I won't be shopping at staples anymore.

Decent mat at a decent price

I was looking for a good chair mat for my hardwood floor as my chair was starting to make wear marks. I was astonished by how costly chair mats were getting to be. The clear vinyl plastic ones seamed much better than in years past. A lot more flexible a lot more expensive. I took a look at the Chestnut Laminate Chair Mat. It was quite a bit stiffer like the older style mats but made of different material. It was much less expensive than the others and matched well with my flooring so I decided to try it. So far it seems great. My chair rolls much better than on the floor. The mat was very hard to unroll and get to lay flat at first though. It appears to be holding up under the amount of use several hours daily that I put it through but only time will tell. All in all seams to be a good mat for a good price and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget to keep from damaging their floors.
