I was surprised by this floor mat. I had it in my mind the hard acrylic mats that they have for carpets. This mat is designed for floors. It is thin yet distributes the weight of my roller chair. It is quiet and the chair doesn't mark the mat. I am very happy with this mat and would recommend it to others.

This mat is perfect to protect tile floors. The chair wheels don't get caught in the grout area between the tiles. It comes rolled up and they give instructions on how to flatten it out. All worked fine.

I am using this anchored by my desk legs but there is no binding up or rolling with this mat whatsoever. It's perfect for hard floor use but I suggest a thorough cleaning before putting it down to minimize the potential for damage to your floor surface. Would buy this again and recommend to others.
