it does not stay in oner place ... it keeps sliding all over the place ... I wish I could return it and chose one that will stay in place for hard wood floors.

Wish I hadn’t waited so long to purchase a hard floor chair mat to protect by wide board pine floor in my home office. This black mat looks sleek and I am happy that the floor is now protected and my chair slides smoothly instead of getting stuck in the spaces beyween the floorboards. I like that it’s black rather than clear so I can’t see the damage I already did to my floor over the years (decades!). 5 stars!

Does a good job on my new wood floors. But does have a tendency to slip if you kick it or step on it as you prepare to sit.

Horrible chairmat. Divits from chair after 1 hour of use and the divits stay. Hard to move chair around due to divits! I only weight 165 lbs. Not beveled around edge as advertised (false ad). Do not recommend ANY of the Staples brand chair mats!
