It works but not cheap and still quite noisy on ceramic tile

I have ceramic floors and I was hoping this would also reduce the noise as well as protect the floor and keep it clean (which it does quite well). But still too noisy. If I were to do this again I would start with an area rug of the same size and then instead of the hard mat get one for carpet. (But then that might be prone to sliding....)

I love the black; it looks great with the carpet. It doesn't have spikes on the bottom so it does move around a bit but I'm okay with that. Mine came rolled up tight but it unrolled easily and flattened out with no problem.

we use the mat to cover wires that we do not want to walk on. it is very sturdy and serves the purpose.

I ordered this chair mat online and picked it up a few days later. I use it in my home office to protect my tile floor from the the affects of my rolling office chair. So far the mat done has done it's job of protecting my tile floor. The mat is about 1/8" thick has textured surfaces and it's pretty durable. The one thing I don't like about this mat is that it has sharp edges. The edges could be a hazard because a person could possibly cut their bare feet on them. Overall I recommend this mat.

This mat works great on our wood floor helping to protect it. The chair glides easily and all the edges stay firmly on the floor.
