I purchased this chair mat about 8 months ago to use to protect my brand new Pergo XP flooring (one of the best laminates on the market). Yesterday I checked underneath the mat while doing major house cleaning. The Pergo XP flooring under the mat is very much so damaged from it. DO NOT BUY. I hope Staples stands behind its merchandise and replaces my Pergo XP flooring (about 12 - 14 square feet of it) plus labor !

this is a great looking mat...but it is too pliable and keeps rolling up and bending at the edges...also the backside is smooth as top surface so nothing keeps it in place on carpet floor constantly bunching up (had no idea plastic could even do that)...disappointed.

I ordered a black rectangular shaped mat for my office chair at work. I received a clear/transparent mat mostly rectangle except for a tab cut out on one end. It protects the floor but doesn't look anything like I ordered.

I was in the Staples by my house and accidentally one of your sales associates put out an online only floor mat return! This was a solid thick black mat and was told I can buy online. He showed me in store the online purchase so I went for it! When I received the item it wasn’t what was in the store. This was a flimsy not so thick version! Was not happy!!
