The mat goes greta with my home office decor. It does give a bit to the wheels of my chair but I'm a big guy at 225 lbs so it is to be expected a bit. My only gripe is the shipping of the product. It came somewhat rolled up tied with plastic wrap and absolutely filthy and with a bunch of footprints on it. I had to wash it and use hot water to make it regain its shape c'mon STAPLES!!!

I have low-pile carpet and my previous chair mat had a mind of its own sliding under my desk and causing a tripping hazard. This one hasn't moved an inch in 2 weeks! Success!

I really love this chair mat. It looks so nice. It is kind of cushiony. It stays in place (I have it mostly covering low pile carpet and it overlaps a couple of plastic mats around the edges that I have under my desk and behind me). I have a standard rolling office chair and I have no problems. So glad I got rid of the clear plastic chair mat that was coming apart in the middle. I tried to cover the cracks with duct tape until I couldn't stand it anymore. I feel like I am living in luxury now. I have only had this for about a month but it really seems like it should last a long time. It is completely different than the clear plastic mats. I like the black too. It just looks sharp.
