Sadly this is the third one in 2 years and it slips around as badly as the first two. As I am not so young anymore I find this most troublesome as I have to get down and pull it into place every few days.It looks nice appears well made--just doesn't work. It's on an older carpet not a deep pile and so should stay put.Bettina Elliott

I have had this product for about a week now and it already has ruts in in making it difficult to move the computer chair (that's on wheels) Perhaps a better plastic (harder) would do a better job.

Stays put protects carpet

Great for a rolling chair that you don't have to roll too far. It has been in use for two weeks and shows no sign of permanent dents from chair casters. Doubt that it will crack like the cheaper ones do. I wish it came in other colors but black is OK.

Great mat to protect carpet!

We bought this mat for a recording studio. We had tried a clear mat that gave us an electric shock when we touched the console so returned it to where we bought it from and ordered this mat from Staples. This mat is perfect; no shock! nice and quiet and it also looks very professional and un-nerdy. The material it is made from is superior to clear mats. I would recommend this mat for anyone who like us has a commercial carpet they need to protect.
