Get what you pay for.

My chair sinks into the carpet leaving dimples in the mat that the chair gets stuck in. I am not that heavy 150 or so and the carpet in not that deep. If I had it to do over I would spend the extra $15 or so dollars and get a better quality mat.

Too short

The great thing about this is the price and I got my $10 worth. I would vote for a $15 version that is 8-12 inches longer. This one is a little too short and I find myself sliding off the mat. Also it sinks down into the carpet where the chair is. If the grippers on the bottom weren't so long I would use it in a different area on an oriental carpet atop a hard surface. That would be ideal.

Carpet protector is too thin. I will need to buy another thicker one. This protector forms depressions and my chair gets stuck in them.
