I was hoping this pad would be less flexible than it is my chair sinks into it in on my carpet. For the price I would expect it to be thicker.

Just a standard chair mat for carpet will last about 3 years.

The plastic is soft and my chair wheels don't move smoothly over it. Wheels form dents in the surface quickly making it difficult to roll the chair around.

Excellent mat once I scrubbed it clean and laid it in the sun to uncurl. Expected the curl issue but didn't notice until after putting under the desk and stepping on it that it was very sticky.

Mat itself was everything I could have hoped for My only complaint is that it was delivered in such a state that it actually took 2 days to straighten out enough to use.
