I picked this one for my sewing chair but evidently my carpet has a higher pile and the chair does not move easily. Most likely I will have to purchase another mat that has a more rigid plastic base to make the movement possible.

I was hoping this would work in my home office as I didn’t want to spend a lot due as this is a temporary work arrangement. The wheels of the chair actually dent the mat without even sitting in it. Then when you add your weight to the chair it is very difficult to roll. Might as well keep it on the carpet. I would not recommend this product.
