the mat is very thick. It does not sink into the plush carpet. I have a computer table sitting on it and it does not wobble. I am very pleased with this mat.

Heavy construction that allows the chair to move easily. Seems to be of good quality. However the spikes are not long enough to be used on heavy pile carpet. It still moves around with chair movement.

Not quite as sturdy as I hoped. Plastic sinks into carpet where you sit on the chair. Leaving divots in the mat. Every time you roll you have to roll across them.

Chairmat was much thinner the described. It would not even hold the weight of the chair without me sitting it. With me in the chair and i'm just an average weight person the mat indented so bad I coudn't even roll the chair. had to send it back. My old split up pad works better. Guess I'll have to keep looking.

Terrible quality too soft so gets indentations

Terrible quality as the material is too soft and it develops indentations where the chair sits the most. Have another mat that is the same thickness that was bought from Staples around 5 years ago that doesn't have this problem so they obviously changed something.

Nice chair mat but......

This mat is a nice mat but it is certainly not designed for a thick plush carpet like it is marketed for. The nibs on the bottom of the mat are simplly too short to grip the carpeting and it moves around with the chair. This was the second one I ordered because the first one was even worse. Perfect opportunity for a new entrapreneur to enter the market and do it properly. I would not recommend this to a friend who has plush carpeting.

Chair mat is an average mat. It indents very easy.. Not made for anybody over 200lbs. Recovery of indents is slow. Over time they will become permit. Price was good but you get what you pay for. I'll re-review this item in 90 days.
