Too weak

I chose the mat that was recommended for the thickest carpet. Didn't work. In very little time my chair settles into the craters under the castors. I'm returning it.

This mat is just perfect to replace my old mat which had cracked after many years of use. The quality is good and it looks well in my home office.

This chair mat was thick enough not to deform under weight of chair and occupant and the price was very good.

Almost acceptable

A 200lb weight on a 5-wheeled office chair is too much for this mat. It does protect the carpet from the deep wheel marks; however the chair wheels create depressions in the mat. Hindsight tells me I should have opted for the heavy pile carpet (I am currently working on ~3/8" pile carpet)

Good for a year.

This is the third chair mat of this type and we expect it to last about one year. It does develop cracks and dents around the one year mark. Have not found any product that does better. Maybe in in the future.
