I finally found the right medium pile carpet chair heavy duty and my chair rolls with ease. I ordered in the store and within three days I had it delivered with a free delivery.

A little disappointed

My old chairmat from Staples had longer pointed grips which provided better security. This new mat "creeps".

Doesn't work for medium pile carpet

The cleats on the bottom are not long enough to hold it in place. I moves several inches each time the chair rolls on it.

Misleading product description

This product is described as being suited to high pile carpet. I have a medium pile carpet and the mat moves and has to be reset often. Products for high pile carpets usually have plastic spikes that anchor the product to prevent movement. This product has small bumps that do not anchor the mat to the carpet. This product may be suitable for industrial or outdoor carpet but not typical residential carpet.
