Chair Mat for Medium Pile carpet

Just laid the chair mat at my computer - I'm satisfied with mat for now however time will tell after extended use. I don't expect my 4-caster office chair to roll on the mat as easy as it would on hardwood floor.. Caster's still make an indention in the pad but not as deep as the thin pads I've experienced.in the past. What would be great is a mat that is more hard for use on top of 1-inch Berber carpet and padding.

I returned a less expensive mat to Staples and ordered this sight unseen (not available in store). I returned the original thinner mat because it moved around with chair movement. I thought this thicker more expensive mat with "more cleats per mat for superior hold" would be better. It does move less but it does not stay in place like all the mats I have owned in the past which have spike-type cleats.

I bought this to replace one we've used for over 10 years. The quality is excellent and laid perfectly flat after just a couple days.

Was expecting better

Item looks ok but it crawls as you move your chair. Needs better carpet cleats to stay put. Have medium pile carpet. Every 2-3 days I have to reposition mat.

Pretty good with the exception of label heavily gluied to mat

Overall it is a pretty god mat but they do wear out over time. My one complaint is they stick a large lable on the plastic with a heavy glue which takes an adhesive solvent to remove.
