Not as heavy as advertised on the tag in the store had to order one to be delivered this mat will fail in about a year. Deflects heavily on a medium pile rug. Check them out before you buy one.

This heavy-duty clear-plastic mat is perfect for my use. I have very good quality carpet and padding so I needed a mat beneath my roller executive chair (even though I'm not an executive!). I am very pleased with this one. Thank you.

Its much better than the chair mat I had. It is made for medium pile carpet....but if you have a thicker carpet it would be better to buy one for thick carpet. I am satisfied with this product.
