Not really suitable for high-pile carpet.

Not stiff enough; chair rolls only with substantial difficulty. Feet on bottom aren't long enough to allow the mat to stay in place forcing daily repositioning.

It’s very smooth and my chair glides right over it.

Bought this chair mat to protect the rug in my study. Had one before but it wore out. Carpet looks great.

The Office chair being used on this chair mat leaves impressions in the mat. That makes it hard to move the chair around.

I bought this to protect the carpet area in front of the computer desk since it was beginning to “bubble” from the chair rolling over it repeatedly. The mat fits the desk opening perfectly. I like that it extends underneath the chair opening lies flat and the chair glides easily.

Originally I ordered a mat that was not only too small but way too thin. I was extremely pleased when this new purchase was exactly what I needed. Plus it was delivered flat so I didn’t have to go through the period of waiting for it to uncurl.
