I had a cheap mat that did not work out. I bought this one because it was thicker and worked out very well. Try it and you will like it I'm sure. Also was at a very good price.

The chair mat was fine.....it came folded and I set it out in the sun with weights on the four corners. After about an hour it was flat. I don't know what I would have done if it was not sunny that day!

The plastic floor mat is as advertised. It's working as a plastic mat that sits on top of a carpet and supports my wheeled work chair is supposed to work. Ask me in a few months or years if the mat is still in great shape or if like the last one I bought it had cracked so much that a piece of it in the middle had even broken out. (This mat might be a bit thicker than the last one. It cost a bit more than the last one. I guess you get what you pay for if you're lucky.)

Staples 45 x 53 Medium-Pile Carpet Chair Mat with Lip

I went from a smaller thinner cheap chair mat that I use on a medium pile carpet to this larger Staples Chair Mat. I had to trim the lip to fit the knee hole in my desk. Found out right away it's too thick to do with a pair of scissors. Had to use tin snips. I like the larger size so I'm not always rolling off of it. My chair wheels do leave an indentation but it seems to go away after I leave the chair. I have never had a chair mat on carpet that didn't sink in some. It does creep away from the desk every so often but I don't see that as a problem either. I just reposition it. Happy with this product !! When the delivery people came to deliver it I was on the back porch and didn't hear the doorbell so they left a note. I signed the note and checked the square for them to just leave it at the back door the following day. I heard the truck pull in the driver grabbed the note and left the chair mat half on my front porch and half in my flower bed. Guess he didn't bother to read anything on the slip. All in all I am happy !

I was really glad to find a mat that worked well on carpet Every mat I had got before would crack. Staples always has reliable products.I also like the next day delivery and the free shipping since I can no longer drive due to very poor eyesight this is a plus for me. All the employees if they are on -line or in the stores are always ready to help you and are very friendly. In these days when customer service has gone by the wayside that is a plus in my book and is what keeps me shopping on -line and in the stores.
