What can I say? Most chair mats are plastic and as such off-gas and become brittle and crack over time. I do not expect this mat to be any different. When it is new it provides a good surface for a wheeled office chair over a carpeted surface. After some time it becomes more brittle and starts to crack. Then there is little choice but to replace the chair mat. This mat does not appear to be any different.

We had one of these before this one for the Minister's office. The first one lasted several years and was what Ron wanted this time. It works perfectly for him. I give it 5 stars.

Very strong. Flattens out quickly. Only thing I did not like it had 2 stickers on it one had a quick peel and came off great. The other sticker comes off in little pieces left it on !!

The mat is too soft dents (deforms) whereever wheels rest and therefore it makes moving chair exceptionally aukward
