as with everything it seems not near the quality the last one from maybe 8 years ago this one very thin I don't see it lasting long without cracking

One used by 200+ pound person cracks beyond useability in 6-12 months; 120lb. person o.k. Rubbermaid honors guarantee but I would rather have one last 5 or 6 years and avoid the aggravation. Difficult to dispose of bad ones.

Thickness transparency and sticking quality to the carpet is great! It doesn't "travel." My chair rolls over it smoothly. The size is perfect for my office. I highly recommend this chair mat.
