We buy most of our office products from Staples and will continue to do so because for the money and rewards dollars off the prices can't be beat. This chair mat is an excellent value for the money and we used a 20% off coupon which made it even more economical. Thank you Staples for the good values and keep it up.

The Staples Carpet Berbercmat Chair Mat I recently bought and was asked to review is a total disappointment. It is a chair mat and it looks and a like a chair mat. That's where the good news ends. At 180 lbs I don't consider myself inordinately heavy. This mat is on tight Berber carpeting and the mat is so soft the wheels and on my chair sink into the "plastic" (or whatever the Berber mat is made of) making it difficult for me to roll my chair around on it. This happens after sitting for minutes not hours. I have a bad back and don't want my chair to "stick" to my chair mat. That's exactly what this mat does the wheels compress the mat which keeps them from rolling causing my whole body to be stopped when I try to move and that's painful. 😣 It may be a great mat for a solid floor. ANYTHING with ANY give to it will make the chair "stick" unless you weigh a lot less (no clue how much 150 130 110 ... ?). 👎

Product was not functional on my office carpet. The chair was dug into the mat in 5 minutes. I returned it and bought one online. Staples staff was courteous and helpful.

The chair mat came scratch and was filthy dirty. We had to clean it outside because it was too big to do it inside. I will not buy another staples chair mat. The funny thing is that I was suppose to order a rubbermaid. Next thing I know it won't last as long!
